Die Arbeit von STEPHANIE HANNON ist primär expressionistisch, eine Anhäufung ungefilterter Gedanken und Emotionen. Ausgehend von ihren eigenen inneren Erzählungen, erforscht sie die Einzelheiten des emotionalen Körpers. Ihre Monoprints geben spontane, intuitive Antworten auf ihre persönlichen Erinnerungen. Ihre intimen und poetischen Arbeiten lassen gewollt Raum für Mehrdeutigkeit und befinden sich somit im Spannungsfeld von Offenlegung und Geheimhaltung.
Zu Stephanie Hannon’s Arbeiten zählen Zeichnungen, Drucke, Textilarbeiten, Installationen und Skulpturen. 2009 beendete sie ihr Studium an der University of the Arts in London. Sie lebt und arbeitet in St.Gallen.

The work of STEPHANIE HANNON is primarily expressionistic, an accumulation of uncensored thoughts and emotion. Starting with her own internal narratives, she explores the individual as an emotional body. Her mono-prints demonstrate spontaneous, intuitive responses to personal memory. They are intimate, poetic yet often ambiguous. This ambiguity is a conscious decision and her work is a constant balancing act between the details she reveals and the ones she chooses to retain.
Stephanie makes work in a wide range of media including drawing, print, sewn appliqué, installation and sculpture. Stephanie graduated from Wimbledon School of Art (University of the Arts, London) in 2009. She now lives and works from her shared atelier in St. Gallen.
