RUMI; My art explores the concepts of „time“, „memory“, and „memory reconstruction“. I began questioning these concepts at an early age of 6. I remember one particular night I was afraid to fall asleep, and when my mother came to check on me, she found me crying. When asked why, I replied, „I don’t understand where I come from, and where my life is leading“. This memory is what shapes my accumulating works in „The Way Home“ collection. As I continue to look for my „way home“ through my art practice, my hope is that my creations also act as an aid in connecting you to your own memories.Opening:
